Barcelona draw with Napoli and the Spanish international forward Ferran

Torres scored a spot kick as Barcelona earned a draw in the Europa League

last 32 first leg round against Partenopei at the Camp Nou.

Barca made their first appearance in the competition of Europa League
since 2004, the Catalan giants beaten one goal down in the first half when
Piotr Zielinski stuck in the 29th minute.

But the hosts were given a penalty in the second half by VAR after Adama

Traore’s cross into Juan Jesus’ hand.

Torres took a spot kick to send goalkeeper Alex Meret the wrong way.
The Spaniard scored only his second goal for Barcelona since signing from

Manchester City at the January transfer window. 

The two clubs will face each other again at Diego Armando Maradona

stadium  in Italy  for the second leg on Thursday, 24 February.
